Our History
Advanced Networking Specialists was founded on a simple principle: Provide honest, exceptional work, and our clients will speak for us. They do! We continue to establish new accounts based almost entirely on referrals from our clients, and for that, we thank you!
Our founder is a passionate, dedicated IT professional with a skill for solving the most difficult of IT problems; meet Shannon Maddox. Shannon received her Bachelor's of Management Information Systems, with emphasis in Business Management, from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2005. After years of working in the field for a large IT company and seeing faults in the IT industry, Shannon wanted to do things differently: Give clients honest recommendations not driven by profit margins, show them options, and let them choose which route they would like to take. To do this, she only had one option; quit her secure company job and form her own corporation. It was a huge risk, but one that would prove it's worth.
In November 2011, Advanced Networking Specialists, LLC was established, and almost every client that Shannon had worked with in the past moved their business to Advanced Networking Specialists, LLC. Those clients followed Shannon on her journey of forging a new kind of IT business; one that genuinely puts the customer first. We sincerely thank those clients who had so much faith in Shannon and her abilities, and have continued to allow us to maintain their networks! Based on our founding principle, we continue to establish new accounts through referrals, and make friends along the way! The greatest compliment we receive from our clients is the fact that many of them have become genuinely great friends.

Forcing a product on a client or trying to sell a specific line to get "kick backs" has never been a part our business plan. In fact, we never get any kind of perk for selling a company's product, and allow our clients to buy at direct pricing from our suppliers, so there's never a markup. This allows us to be flexible as a business, saves our clients money, and allows them to get the specific services and equipment they actually need and want, while not wasting money on markups and equipment that they don't.
